This includes the diagnosis of disease through examinations and investigations. Special Investigations include Laboratory Investigation, Radiological Investigation, Biochemical investigations, Lumbar puncture and CSF analysis, Thyroid T3, T4, TSH estimation, Diagnostic skin tests, Endoscopic procedures, Ultra-sonography and Doppler study, Computerized tomographic scan (CT scan), MRI, PET. Examinations include examination of the Patient, History taking and case sheet writing, examination of Vital Data, general physical examination, systemic examination of the patient.
