Physiology is a part of first year curriculum of B.N.Y.S It teaches us the importance of synchronicity and rhythmicity in human body as well as in our life. To get to know about own body in detail is the greatest charm of a first year medical student. The Physiology Department is a branch of biology that focuses on the study of the functions and mechanisms of living organisms at the cellular, tissue, organ, and system levels. This department examines how living organisms, including humans, animals, and plants, function and adapt to their environments. Physiology is an interdisciplinary field that integrates concepts from physics, chemistry, biology, and medicine to understand how living organisms work. The department conducts research on topics such as the nervous system, endocrine system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system, and musculoskeletal system, among others.
In the Physiology Department, researchers and students use various techniques and methods to investigate the functions and mechanisms of living organisms. These methods include experimentation, observation, imaging, and statistical analysis.
The ultimate goal of the Physiology Department is to advance our understanding of the complex mechanisms that govern living organisms and to use this knowledge to improve human health and well-being.
